A Lot

As I have been stepping into this new year, I have been reminded by how many things have my interest and my curiosity right now. I am exploring a lot of things. I am not loyal to any one thing.

But as my Coach told me, "Andy, you are not going to be a Bezos or a Jobs kind of leader where you have your Amazon or your Apple. It is much more likely you'll be touching a lot of things for a long time, but maybe like your buddy Richard Branson, you make it a branded house or projects." That was some good coaching.

But until I get my "Virgin" monicker, I am trying to understand how I can best learn in public and loop in as many others into those learnings as well. I want to openly share what I am learning each week across each initiative so that I can cast the widest net of conversation possible and connect with anyone else interested in the spaces that I am curious about and that might be able to share their ideas with me as I pursue if there is a there there.

Is this the right place to originate those ideas? Does asking the questions here give me a jump spot to plunge into a deeper depth from there? If I ask the questions here, will you - the reader - amplify them out to a larger audience? Will you tag someone who knows more about that space than I do? Is this a reasonable way to think about what is happening here?

I am a lot right now. I care a lot. I am pushing a lot. I want the next chapter of my pursuit to be a lot of everything good and everything that I've been working behind the scenes to step into. I need a lot of input and I need a lot of feedback.

But maybe we try this. Maybe this is the place where things jump off for now. We workshop the ideas here and then we take them out to a much larger audience later this year and share the power of a curated curious commmunity?
