The End Of Accountability?
This week was a busy one in the Make Room community with four new posts inspired by this month's theme of Accountability. I want to say Thank You to those of you that reached out after last week's Roomie Weekly (think we can come up with a better name for these Tuesday newsletters - right?) The feedback that you've shared with me about what you are liking and what you want to see more of from Make Room has been really helpful.
As March finishes up, so will our focus on Accountability. The four most recent posts can be reviewed below:
- Sticks or Carrots? - When it comes to achieving your goals, do sticks or carrots work better for you?
- Steaking Accountability - A lot of emphasis has been placed on consistency, but when is that focus taken too far?
- 16 Quotes about Accountability - I am curious if you have a favorite, I know I do.
- The Tough Part About Accountability - This is not the path of least resistance - what happens when the going gets tough?
I'd love to hear your thoughts on the topic. Please feel free to reply to me via email or drop your comments on the blog posts directly.
With the end of one concept comes the beginning of another. For the month of April, we're going to be diving into the deep end of Community. We are going to look at how it has shaped so many aspects of our daily lives and how it is allowing us to co-create our future.
Instead of doing a Roomie Meet-Up at the end of the month to discuss the topic covered, we're going to be doing our Roomie Meet-Up next Tuesday, April 5th at 9 pm EST. I will send out the Zoom details in next week's Roomie Weekly (no seriously, we can come up with a better name for these Tuesday newsletters!)
Until next week, I hope you find ways to Make Room For Many more people, memories, and adventures in the week ahead!
If you are reading this post and not already a "Roomie" - we'd love to include you in our discussions this month. In the same way we've tackled Curiosity and Accountability, we are diving into Community in April! Only Roomies have access to the conversations in real-time and are invited to the virtual meet-ups and discussions. You can join just for this next month or you can sign up for the year. Just check out your options here
